Petra Joy is an award-winning and internationally published photographer. Photographing portraits has been a life long passion for Petra who got her first camera when she was only 6 years old. Petra has been working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker for over 20 years.

Four years ago she founded "Strawberry Seductress" a creative, discreet photo service for women and couples. Petra enjoys brining out the unique sexiness in every individual rather than creating shots that make every women look like a glamour model clone. To capture the unique chemistry between a couple is another one of Petra’s skills. Petra has photographed women and couples of all ages, sizes and cultural backgrounds.

"I enjoy meeting people, discovering what makes them tick and encapsulating their unique erotic spirit and beauty in my photographs. With my personal photo portfolios I bring out whatever makes the individual attractive, unique, and sexy rather than creating "glamour clones". No photo will ever be the same because each person is an individual. My service is tailor-made. Your photographs can be as subdued or explicit as you would like them to be. "

In 2004 Petra won the erotic award (www.eroticawards.co.uk) as best photographer of the year. The president of the jury, Tuppy Owens explained the choice to award Petra with the prestigious price:

"Her photography has ventured past the clichés of pornography to embrace intimacy and tenderness, fun and fragility, class and style."

In 2005 Petra Joy was nominated for three awards during the Brighton festival for her "boudoir photography parties". The reviewer of the event, Sarah Lewis encapsulates the spirit of Petra's art:

Since then Petra has published many photos in national and international magazines such as "Scarlet". She was also commissioned to shoot two cover shots for the national magazines "Forum" and "Desire".

Petra has also written a book on erotic photography for couples that was illustrated entirely by her photographs and published January 2007 by Harper Collins. In December 2007 DK publishing commissioned Petra to fully illustrated their book "Fetish" with her sensual and artistic images.

Strawberry Seductress and Petra Joy have also been featured in many national magazines from "New" to "Marie Claire".
